Advanced purchase of ticket is required. Your picking ticket includes one complementary non-picking companion ticket (if desired).
Upon arrival at the farm, guests will be provided a container with water and snips along with some brief cutting instructions. Guests are welcome to fill the container with as many stems as they wish. Please take the flowers you cut with you….i.e. don’t cut flowers that you do not want for your container. Unwanted flowers that are tossed on the pathways or into the garden beds make me sad and diminish the experience for our other guests.
Once your container is full, transfer your flowers from the container provided for cutting into a compostable cup to take your flowers home. Our cups fit perfectly into your car’s cupholder and will help safely transport your flowers home.
No flower experience is required. We’ll be there to provide instructions or answer questions.
A single ticket allows one adult (and one companion) to fill one of our provided cutting containers. If your companion would like to pick their own flowers for their own bouquet, an additional ticket must be purchased.
Please be aware that some of our garden pathways are NARROW and may not fit strollers; walkers; etc. We apologize for the inconveniences our garden may cause for some people. Please reach out prior to your visit if you have questions or concerns and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please leave your pets at home. We can not allow your fur babies within the garden and it is too hot to leave them in the car.
Please wear farm appropriate attire during your visit. While we do our best to ensure a safe experience for our guests, this is a working farm. The ground may be uneven, there may be poop, and since we are a welcoming space for pollinators, there will be bugs.
Please be aware that our flowers are located outside and there is no public restroom. Our house is not open to the public. Please do not ask for an exception to this policy. Our house is home to our 4-legged family members Frankie, Grace, and Violet and they do not appreciate any intrusions into their space.
Lastly, we ask that you please be respectful of the property. This is our private home and we have worked hard to grow premium cut flowers in a peaceful garden setting for the enjoyment of others all season long.
Hidden Pond Farm is located at 971 Johnson Rd, Mineral, Virginia 23117. The parking area must be accessed using the driveway that runs parallel to the white fencing It is well-marked. Please do not use the main driveway to the house - the gate will be closed.
