People have asked why we started a flower farm to help increase awareness and raise funds for farmed animal sanctuaries; especially those that provide a haven for pigs. Well it's a very long story but the short answer is - because the need is HUGE and we are in a position to help. How do we help? Hidden Pond Farm donates 25% of all proceeds to farmed animal sanctuaries in Virginia, Tennessee, New York, Indiana, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. We grow and donate fresh produce for pigs living in local area sanctuaries and we also love volunteering to help build and repair structures, collect pumpkins, and cuddle with pigs. We are always looking for ways to give back to the farmed animal sanctuary community so I am sure this list will grow. Suggestions are welcomed!
BTW, if you are a farmed animal sanctuary and would like Hidden Pond Farm to raise funds for your organization, please reach out to us to discuss ideas.
